Following a 0-0 stalemate against the Championship outfit at Anfield on Sunday, the Reds now travel to Ewood Park for a decider which is to be screened live on BT Sport. Brendan Rodgers' side will be keen to secure progress at Rovers' expense to the last four of the competition they won for a seventh time at the Millennium Stadium in 2006. If they can overcome Gary Bowyer's charges in the replay next month, Liverpool will face Aston Villa at Wembley in the semi-finals of the competition after the draw was made on Monday night. http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-news/181447-date-set-for-fa-cup-replay-at-blackburn
The Blackburn game will be tough. If, and it may be a bigger if than a lot think, we beat them I fancy our chances against Villa. If we do get to the final and Arsenal do then it should be a good game as both teams play good football. The F.A must be dreading a Bradford v Blackburn final. try selling that globally!
Still don`t understand the reasoning in this, EUAFA rules stipulate that no domestic cup games should be played in a CL or EL week and yet last night i watched a FA cup game and tonight i am watching a CL game
We're the Bradford of the Premier League when it comes to pitches... no teams wants to come on play and our **** bobbly pitch
FFS It's not the same week... it's the same day. Can't play FA Cups on the same day as a CL/EL game. Don't understand why we have to wait so long but Reading/Bradford play in a week or two? Although they do have to do it on a Monday after playing on a Saturday...
Blackburn manager said you would get a shock when you played on their pitch, that either means it`s like a bowling green or they are going to plough it
Bradford have a **** pitch.... no team wants to go and play there as they are used to it and other teams aren't... Similar to our pitch.. but we're in the Premier league
I get what you mean, but the second bit of the post I quoted doesn't sound right. 'On' and 'and' need to be the other way around.
