Sounds about right, I only live about 2.5 miles from Ewood Park these days and it takes me about 2 hours to get to my Mum’s in Barton without any hold ups. Life’s strange isn’t it, if someone had told me when I first went to see City play at Ewood in the Prem back in 2008 that in less than 10 years, I’d be living and working over here, I would never have believed it. I’ll be there tomorrow, only my third game in the last three seasons and two of them have been at Ewood Park. Distance is an issue for home games but I’m sure I’d have been making the trip across to the KCom more frequently if it wasn’t for the way those two have behaved since they haven’t been able to get their own way. I suppose it says it all when someone who has been supporting his team for nearly 50 years, can’t bring himself to go to home games despite the fact that the last 10 years have been the most successful in the club’s history!
