Agreed. Jobe’s positioning in this role doesn’t look too great. Which is what Birmingham fans were saying about him being “miles from ready”.
It's the lack of solidity in central midfield and lack of possession in general that's causing the problems, defence is doing well in the circumstances. They're getting battered.

I have sussed it. In possession Hume is stepping into midfield alongside Neil and we go 3 at the back. Out of possession the nearest of Pritch and Jobe retreat in. Not comvinced it is working, but I can see the logic. Needs Hume and Jobe / Pritch to be 100% on it all the time.
Wish they’d try him as a DM think it would be a much better fit for him. Allows the rest of the midfield to play in their preferred roles.
