You could clearly see it was a pen on tv in real time, when you've watched enough football you know a pen when you see one. Unless you're this ref.
cheers again RTB... trying hard to show that the player got 'enough of the ball' for it not to be a penalty, simple fact is the ball was moving that way as clarke was trying to turn so there was no touch on the ball at all, once again we get screwed over by an incompitant official as they would not get that goal if not for the break they had. still think we have been slightly the better team though.
It was definitely a pen, it's took 75 different angles in super slow mo to see it was. Ref was possibly in a position where it looked like the defender won the ball. Question is, is he the kind to even it up after seeing it?
I bet the ref knows he's ****ed up, maybe he'll give us a soft one later. I'm not counting on it but it does happen.

50/50 for me. Seen them given, but can see why it wasn’t given. Jack did make a meal of it which probably swayed the ref to go against it.
