    I said in August that we needed to sign another CM. And I was really surprised at the negative feedback I got on here from some people.

    It's a hugely important area of the pitch. There are a lot of midweek matches. You can't expect to have Downes, Charles and Jander fit and available every game.

    He had 3 good seasons in Ligue 1 before joining us. Regardless of how he's been for us it's hardly a left field appointment.

    Any new manager that eventually comes in is going to have to be ruthless with some players. Stills been the problem, but so too have the players.
