Just win. Then try and take some confidence from it and win again, with some more of the absentees back. That's all I am hoping for now
Well we are still ****, but Blackburn much ****ter! They are dreadful but we aren't exactly playing well or creating much - it's really poor football all round.
What an absolutely appalling half of football. Two teams bereft of confidence, and once again the only trace of quality on the pitch coming from Leo Scienza. Tepid boos ring out from the hundred or so Blackburn fans who bothered to show up for that borefest..
I wonder how much time the balls been in the air... Not sure the pitch and wind is helping. If we get a second this is over. Need to watch the runs from midfield with only one central midfielder.
Our game plan feels a bit like… Player A passes to Player B: “Do something”. B passes it back: “You do something!” A passes to C: “Do something with it”. C to D: “I don’t want it. You have it.” C back to D: “I tried something last time. You do it”.
I don't like to put oppo teams down but Blackburn are the worst team that we have played this season and we really should win this comfortably. My worry is that Still will continue with the same failed formation if we win when the truth is we would be more dominant with a 4-2-3-1. Azaz is playing too deep to really hurt the oppo in this half.
