It was the same with us TBH, we totally dominated the game and they just capitalised on an Alex Bruce error with a scrappy goal
Hasn't said that at all, hes said the way the last 2 games played out we deserved to win them, sorry didn't realise that the first 3 games were more important than the last 43. Watched a huge chunk of the game and we dominated it, im very happy if we keep playing the same way, last season it was final third that was the problem, this season it is just the final touch. If we play like that every game, mixed with some strikers on form, we will get automatics GL to him, hope he finds his feet after we have played you
"Hasn't said that at all"...who are you refering to ? cos I never said pearson has said that...Its what alot of posters keep writing , to say its all bad luck, bad refs ..etc etc... is self delusion...the defensive system is STILL not working, even after a a complete overhall in the close season...we concede far too many soft goals..you are not going to win many games if you have to score three to win them..
In fairness to the defence we have a 19 year old right back just making his way into the game playing at centre half. Once Zak Whitbread and Sean St. Ledger return the soft goals that we conceded in the past week wont be as easy for the opposition in the future
And who is responsible for that situation? I not blaming moore...the pre planning for the season should not of left us in this position..not with our resources, pearson saw enough of this kind of defending last season..he has had plenty of time to put together some kind of defence that does not let in 2 goals a game...we are back to playing catch up football after giving other teams a head start... having to score three to win a game is not going to happen...very often..now the following games start to become must win..which we didn't want to get into that position so early..
Very very true, got back about 45 mins ago and have no idea how we lost that, Blackburn were there for the taking. Well i do - piss poor finishing and defending, lloyd dyer should be an impact sub at best, knockaert should start and np should have brought beckford on as soon as Blackburn scored and played with 3 strikers, before the beckford haters start nuge missed a sitter again today but I'm still backing him! We can't keep blaming referees or linesman/assistants or bad luck, we need to score from the chances we are creating to ensure that the inevitable Fook up that we/refs/whoever make isn't costly. Now drowning my sorrows but will be fine tomorrow as there's still at least another 100+ points to play for and hopefully we start with hollowhead next week
"Hollowheads" team won 6-0 today against an Ipswich side that not long ago beat us 3-0 Does that mean we're going to lose 9-0
This is leicester we're talking about -we'll play garbage and win! I can feel it in my water although it might be my warm cider as I have no ice
bringing beckford on in the 90 min..WTF...what I get concerned about is.. we can play that well, still let two in and lose...we have now played both home sides off the park for the majority of the two games and still got nowt..what happens when we play poorly?
Nigel, Nigel, Nigel. It's always the same isn't it son? Never puts his hands up and always looks to blame everyone but himself. I honestly think Leicester, with all their resources, will win the Championship next year. Just as soon as Nigel is sacked. He simply isn't good enough to get a team out of this league.
Just seen the Championship show and everything Nige said was correct and the panel agreed. Blackburn's first shouldn't have stood and Vardy's disallowed goal should have. Pearson's signings of Marshall and Morgan last season were genius and Vardy and Knockhaert look to have been super signings. I feel we have been genuinely unlucky in our first two away matches against very good sides. I'm still very excited about what awaits us this season, particularly when we get Whitbread and St Ledger back. Meanwhile, how's Bruce's inspirational signing of the £2.6m German striker going?
Excited about St Ledger? Big Nick'll come good. He's only had three proper games so it's early doors.
I'm excited about what I've seen. A complete defence, rather than depending on a kid as we are at the moment, will sort out the one thing I'm worried about at the moment. Vardy has only had three games at this level. He's got one in the league (should have been two), one in the cup and a couple of assists.
Looks like Vardy could be a real find. His goal that stood was a simple enough chance but still had to be put away. The one that was disallowed was an excellent finish of some quality. Steve Walsh is the best in the business in his line of work and it's refreshing to see someone like Vardy given a chance as well.
