I picked loads of flags up last year just to put on work colleagues desks. Leicester 'fans' , not true supporters of course as there is only 15,000 or so of them. Anyway there are some left so I'll drop em off around the South stand next Saturday. Of course they are the **** ones with the no identity badge but they are the right colour (at least not red and white).
Got to say them Clapper's make a noise when they first brought them out I thought what a load of rubbish but got to admit they do the trick, the other thing that really helps is fans opening their mouth's.
Very much this It's a huge game and needs a huge noise (a nasty horrible snarling noise turning the stadium into a 'theatre of hate' would be ideal...but that won't happen so a load of screaming kids would be a good second choice)
The idea behind this is simple. Hull City supporters getting behind the team, we (OSC) considered trying to get flags or klackers for every seat, but our feeling is that we should just put out a call to supporters to wave whatever they wanted. The club has not asked us to do this. We do not know if they plan to do anything themselves, they know what we are doing and that is about all there is to it.
TOM anything that improves the atmosphere and provides additional noise and support for the team is ok with me. This is not about "purist football" this is about supporting the lads and ultimately winning the game.
Improve the atmosphere and earn more revenue so we can keep Marco you say? Simple - have a dunking stool with Ehab sat on it - a tenner a throw It would make a ****ing fortune and the crowd would be on cloud nine....
