Djoure is much easier to spell than djourou, djoure is easier on the fingers. having said that, Arsenal have hardest spelling last names.

    Shezny
    Kosh
    Djoure

Anyway. I think Djourou is worth keeping, unless we sign someone better.

djourou has always been solid at CB. its this season he's only been bad at RB, where he should never play again. I would keep him as a 4th choice CB, except he wants to play more often. fair enough, so we should let him go and buy a young talent.

I'd keep Landsbury too. I still don't think he has done much wrong and the few times i've seen him, he's looked decent. Give him a run of cup games and see what he does.

I couldn't go as far to say 'solid' but he does a job there and he does okay seeing as he's usually thrust in there at short notice. You're right about RB though, it's not his position and he makes too many mistakes there. I think that's why some people on here slate him so much. But out of Djouruou, Squillaci, Miquel and Bartley at CB - I'd choose Djourou every time.

lots of these discussions confirm the widely held view that the previous playing staff level of 71 is keeping very ordinary guys on the payroll.

We have let 7 go - I hope for lots more. So many will never even make the reserve squad - we should try to find loan places or terminate contracts.
