Happy Birthday @Smudger603 :emoticon-0166-cake:

My luck ran out at around 50.
I had to visit a GP for the first time in about 10 years, now it feels like I spend half my time in there, or hospitals.
Took good health for granted until it was gone <wah>

Hope you're feeling OK...

Today's the 60th anniversary of the day young Keith Peacock made history by becoming the first ever substitute. His book. No Substitute, is worth a read.

The first ever record I've seen of a Charlton substitution in any game was in the Summer of 1937 when the Addicks were touring the USA & Canada.
Inside left Les Boulter came on as a sub for George Stephenson (who usually played at inside right).
This may have been a 'one-off' at the discretion of the referee. It was a friendly tour match.

Keith Peacock is rightly known as the first player ever to come on as a sub in an English League game.

Happy 100th Birthday Pete Murray. The Six-Five Special was proper rock 'n' roll.

I was born too late.
My earliest music memories are of a dreadful show on ITV (I think) called 'Supersonic'.

Happy Birthday Rodney Marsh, 81 today. Brilliant player. Not sure he'd fit in to today's game.

Entertaining on Sky's Soccer Saturday back in the day.
Is he still a pundit for Al Jazeera? Or retired now...
