Happy Birthday Curbs![]()
]I didn't want to upset @ForestHillBilly

He's still sitting by his phone (he doesn't have a mobile) waiting for a job offer. If you really want to upset FHB then wish Andrew Nesbitt Nelson a happy birthday on 5 June next year …. FHB dislikes him a lot
Andy Nelson is 83 now and I guess he is chugging along purely to pi55 off FHB![]()
I bet he needed a beer after that experience.Curbs opened Corals at Bromley South about 5 years ago, and my son and I had a good chat with him [outside the shop]
A thoroughly decent, modest and intelligent man, and a wasted talent to English Football PLC.
Christ on a bike, 5 years. In that time so many fans have drifted away, most of them aren't boycotters, just that until Bowjacko's resurgent squad's charge the dead atmosphere hasn't been worth the effort to get to the Valley. ITTV's line of slagging "boycotters" off for not being proper supporters is stupid, to put it mildly. I bet most of them have found other things to do on Saturday, and even in the event of a take-over the attendance won't suddenly be 17,000 of pre-Roland days.Roland Duchsitalot-
5 years owning Charlton next week
5 years of decline on the field and off it.
5 years when all of the tremendous work of Alan Curbishley was systematically destroyed.
I think most Charlton fans - me included -‘would have forgiven the ups and downs of our team in those 5 years in “normal circumstances” ...having a bad side sort of goes with the territory.
What can’t be forgiven is the malice and mendacity shown towards “customers” by Duchatelet, Meire, Murray, Keohane and Parkes etc.
The scorn, the disdain, the lies, the physical violence (stewards) and the vitriol (grassing up to the police).
That’s what places these individuals and what has happened over the last five years beyond the pale.
