I noticed that in his brief and not too clever appearance from the bench, that Étienne Capoue had a strip of that tape from above to below his knee, all designed to stop overstretching I believe. Kiko plays with both legs taped at the back. I hope is it a case of prevention rather than taping a leg or two back on.

Very true. And if we go up - a very big if in my opinion at the moment - it's performances like this that will bring us straight back down again. If we do go up, it woudn't surprise me if Gino dispenses with his services at the end of this season.

I think we have to remember the Championship is a slog. Many teams play the way Birmingham did against us. Anti football. They play very defensive with the long ball to catch us on the break. I'm confident we will get promoted but whether we do or not, this type of game will continue unfortunately. Back in the Prem we would revert to being the underdogs ourselves and play on the break ourselves.
