Last week we made it 3 wins from 3 games, so let’s see how long we can keep the winning streak going…
Sargent completed another good performance with another goal against Sunderland to make it 4 goals from 3 games for his personal tally, and I fully expect him to start again, the question will be whether Pukki joins him from the start or later in the game.
Although the side won at the weekend it was a tough game and I can see a couple of changes being made to the starting lineup. Firstly Cantwell for Hernandez - Hernandez’s direct style is better coming off the bench and I think we will need our ball players for this one. Secondly, Byram came back to play 70mins at the weekend after a long injury lay off, I doubt he will start this one but may come off the bench. With Gibbs injury that means changes are necessary in midfield. I would move McLean back to LB where he prove an able deputy, then I would bring in Sara for a first league start and move Nunez to the deeper lying role as I believe he is experience there?
The rest of the team picks itself I think, Krul made some great saves last game so I won’t push my Gunn agenda.
Birmingham City have struggled so far this season despite beating Huddersfield and draws against Luton and most notably Watford they find themselves just above the relegation zone at this early stage. Norwich loanee Placheta has been one of their better offensive players and is ineligible for the game which also sees former Canary GK John Ruddy set to feature.
Positive vibes!!!
ON THE BALL CITY!!!
