Akintola looks woeful to be fair. He's a last 10 mins player to cause some chaos.

In my view the wingers should now be Gelhardt (with Belloumi out) and Millar, they're by far the most threatening and the ball tends to stick with them.

Crooks in the 10 as he can drop in where needed and presses really well up there.
Don’t forget Ndala. Nice position to be in to rotate him plus those you’ve already mentioned.

Great win. So important to finally get back to back wins and done after an international break is a big plus too

So, the brawl...any likely repercussions, points deductions, sanctions heading towards both clubs?
can't imagine so, it was a melee rather than a brawl...no one hit the deck, threw a punch or a headbutt or owt, we'll both be fined for picking up a load of bookings but can't see it being more than that

Internal investigation done in a few hours. Nothing to see here. Oh, and the Epstein files don’t exist either.

I can’t recall any other club needing suited up bouncers on the touchline during a game to protect the coaching staff, they looked like they were ready for a shift on the doors in Brum city centre. Obviously not the first time it’s happened.

Serj said he wasn’t going to take it any further, after this public gaslighting he should put in a complaint and expose them for who they are.

I think he’s an underrated player, he’s not a goal scorer playing out on the wing, but does the dirty stuff that goes unnoticed. I think he could become a real CULT player, that a lot of people slag off & then when he doesn’t play, they’re the ones saying we need a player like Joseph!

He's basically like Jay Simpson or Caleb Folan - or as one former used to so eloquently phrase it, "he's not a striker's arsehole".

You need people like Joseph in the team and we need to remember he is still only 24 so he's just reaching the peak of his career. He has two goals in nine games, three if by some miracle he's awarded this one, so if we're being generous it's a 1 in 3 goal ratio. 1 in 3 strikers tend to go for pretty good money if they're consistent across the season.

I think he'll easily get 10 goals this season as the team becomes more settled and starts to gel even more.

Loved watching that today. We didn't really control possession or the game, but we have players who can cause issues at any point. We have pace in the team and off the bench, which we haven't had for years either.

Most importantly, they feel like a team for the first time since Rosenior. All fighting for each other, willing to get stuck in, know when to a foul player rather then letting him run through. It's great to watch, and whilst we look like we could concede, I'd much rather this balance than the balance we have had in past seasons.
