It took him a dozen games, but Jones has finally junked 3-5-2 and stumbled on the correct formation. We still need to replace Kanu (useless ) with Leaburn & Anderson with AN Other ….but we have definitely showed signs of life today.

Enjoyed the game today. Birmingham didn’t turn up thankfully although their fans did.
Deserved to win which is refreshing to say the least. Keeping us safely in mid table . Some really good performances today.

The attendance was a real disappointment today.

There can’t have been many more than 10,000 Charlton fans in the Valley, when you take away ST no shows & comps.

I thought we’d get close to 20,000 today.

ReAl team effort. Doc and Campbell marked their two playmakers out of the game and they ended up going long while we defended as though our lives depended on it. We could have won more convincingly but no failures in my book, with Ramsey a class act.

Me and all. The east stand other than 1 block looked sparse and empty.

Daniel Kanu is definitely one who would benefit from a loan I think.

A season in L2, learning the finer points of the game, & gaining more experience

The risk of throwing youngsters in too soon out of necessity like we do under this ownership is that you stunt their long term development.

Incidentally, we don’t hear much about GFP’s “8-8-8 strategy” these days.

Charles Hawtrey (Seriously Red) blew a gasket in his Y Fronts when Rodwell originally announced this cack.

How are we doing with those 8 elite players ?

I gather the coffee and burger sales went well.
We'll be able to buy the squad a new set of shin pads each.
