Think that’s a bit harsh. He has a role to play as an impact sub but he’s not good enough to start yet. Could do with a loan but we’re painfully short up front. Bonne deserves more of a chance IMO.
I can’t help but think that Bonne has done something wrong. We know he’s not the next Haaland, but he does get the odd goal and has a good header on him.

Perhaps I’ve been harsh on Armstrong. He’s a kid and before this season National League was the highest level he’d played, and not much there either. A loan to league 1 or 2 would be great, but you are right, we don’t have the bandwidth up front. Perhaps in the January window…..

Careful TPH. Your post looks like it's about to pop an aneurysm. :emoticon-0104-surpr
I'm sure you'll cheer up once we beat the carrot crunchers. :emoticon-0116-evilg
BTW, have you gotten back home or not? And WTF are you doing out there?
Thought you lived in Derby (or Turkey). Was the sat nav wasn't it? :emoticon-0120-doh:
No live here in Derby these days was on way home from work, (Portsmouth) when van broke down finally walked in my front door about 8-00pm tonight absolutely shattered luckily van has bed, cooker telly and heater so not as bad as some who get stuck out,
Gearbox and clutch knackered :emoticon-0106-cryin:emoticon-0106-cryin:emoticon-0106-cryin

Armstrong seems to me to be the footballing equivalent of Frank Bruno at the moment - all physique, with little discernible talent.
He won a title

He was also known for his exceptional punching power, scoring 38 knockouts in 40 wins and giving him a 95% knockout-to-win ratio; his overall knockout percentage was 84.44%. Bruno has been ranked among BoxRec's 10 best heavyweights in the world 12 times, reaching his career-high ranking of world No.3 at the conclusion of 1984.[3] Like Henry Cooper before him, Bruno has remained a popular celebrity with the British public following his retirement from boxing, including his well-documented struggles with mental health.

Wow. That is a baaaad day!
I'm not superstitious, ....but, did you break a mirror whilst stepping on a black cat going under a ladder. :emoticon-0107-sweat
Seriously mate. Good to hear you're safe albeit out a fair quid.
Here's hoping the R's can cheer you up v Norwich. :emoticon-0148-yes:

I never saw any of the Luton game, but if it was similar to last nights game, MB is going to need to find a counter to those tactics - because as sure as hell others will follow suit against us. There’s no doubt that with Willock and Chair it becomes too difficult to close both of them down easily, and then by definition any forward game we have. I think it’s a tactic MB will see more of from mid-table, and lower, teams - if they have the energy (Brum surprised me that they had the energy to press us for most of the 96 mins tbh - I really thought they would tire and we would take over the game). These are the games where the missed opportunities really stand out - and the criticism for the forwards, most of the time rightly so, comes to the fore.

It’s still early in the season. Still lots of opportunity to improve, adapt and stay up with the pack. Put this one behind us … but use it positively to adapt our tactics to overcome teams like this as we move further into the season. We need our players to not only play smart but to also think smart as a team to counter these tactics.
When you're two goals up SW, then the energy comes naturally. Being on the receiving end of a missed pen. .., an extra lift for them and a drop in morale for us.

Good to hear TPH.
Has your van also got internet? In which case, who needs a house?

Clives report...

https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/news/58875/qpr-endure-a-long-night-at-hands-of-eustace’s-impressive-birmingham-–-report

Rightly rips the ref to bits, but also fairly blames the result on our poor performance and Birmingham being right up for it...

"Looked a good team".....
"Very decent".......
"Best Blues team we've faced in many a year".......
Not a view shared by everyone on here :emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0136-giggl
Can't disagree with any of that report.
Spot on imo.
