I'd say Martin has cost us less goals this season from errors than Turner has, and I don't ever see anyone criticising him on here
Not yet !!! According to BBC 66% of posession, but 1 shot on target. Birmingham on the other hand have had 2 on target. Just get deja vu.
Well with that team selection and first half performance I would say AN might just be HOOTUN MkII ! I'm sorry but you just don't drop your top scorer for a guy who can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo. P.S. Can't wait for Canary Call, Bernie is waiting in the wings
I assume the idea was to contain and tire them in the first half, make them chase the ball, then hit them with some impact subs in the second half.
Sorry KIO, I'm lost here. What did you disagree with? Yes, being serious - we appear to be playing a possession game with some strange changes from our usual (and expected) starting line-up. It's obviously deliberate - no forced changes there. I can only think that is off the back of our poor defensive performance last week, so Neil has decided to contain for the first half and try to exhaust the Brummies and then open it up second half with our substitutions. Looks like it's working ok, but we'll see if Birmingham tire like they did against Leeds. They sound like they're having the better of the start of this second half at any rate. We'll see.
I'd say Grabban is almost the polar opposite of Wilbrahimovic KIO! Grabban scores plenty but is unpopular... Sounds like he played ok today though EDIT - got me too!
