Just had a quick look at the Rovers web page very despondent never having played non-league I think they could struggle being the team too beat by everybody else the away support going to rovers will be very low ours dropped in league two.

In the end Rovers coped with it better than the teams who were down there at the time & any team since.

The National League is a bit weird this year, with no relegation & Dover threw the towel in with no money after 15 games. Otherwise Barnet would be heading for National League South. I can remember going to Underhill for their last home game there with the Wanderers.

I think Barnet were in the Athenian League when we were in the Isthmian League. Never did look forward to playing them in the cup; nor Hitchin or Hounslow

I can remember going over to Underhill for it must have been a cup game we were drawing 3-3 at half-time then Barnet kicked down the hill & we lost 6-3 probably late 60s

First ex Premier League Oldham drop into non league along with Scunthorpe glad we are not faced with that problem going to be hard to get back into the EFL12 teams in the National League who have being league teams in the last 25 years some for a long time
