well if crystal palace can get promoted haven't seen much of the championship, but you're right anything can happen. I wouldn't have thought burnley would be up there, and I thought Bolton would do well.
never a truer word spoken, if crystal palace can do it so can we. thats how crazy this league is. Burnley aren't that bad, solid side it all depends what happens if Ings and vokes dry up with the goals which i reckon they will they will struggle. QPR will defo go up, and i reckon Reading will take second spot. then the 4 playoffs spots will be between roughly 8 clubs including ourselves. if im being honest i reckon the playoffs will contain Forest, Watford, Leicester & perhaps Wigan if europe doesn't get in the way. but who knows!
well... Another truly bizarre championship game. I'm sure I remember a few of your fans wishing to have some similar nights to the one we had last night than to go to the likes of Newcastle and park the bus... or play for a draw at home.. Certainly got my moneys worth in terms of incident and action last night.. A good keeper and we'd be sat top 6 right now but we've all seen clubs fly up the table toward the end of the season by putting a few wins together... could be us
We have not exactly been starved of entertainment, which is what I am guessing you were trying to point out. Spurs away, Swansea away and Man City at home & indeed Man City away last season for starters, and lets not mention how good it feels to beat Man Utd, Tottenham, Man City and Arsenal, when it could be just Millwall, Barnsley, Leeds Utd, Middlesbrough etc
Must try harder I would hardly say the image is a fair and accurate representation of the situation... A draw is hardly anything to get upset or joyous over (even if the circumstances are that of a pantomime) Had we have lost 5 or 6-0 then I would be fully appreciative of the abuse. If you get slapped by anyone this season you may well have some of this coming right back at you... (though probably not from me)
letting a three goal, half time lead slip is a rare occurrence - probably only happens to each club once or twice in a decade, so hardly surprising to see ipswich getting some jokes heading their way. i can't remember us losing a three goal lead before (we never get three goals up ), although i'm sure we have - i've just wiped them from my memory - but i do remember being at crewe, leading 2-0 with three minutes to go and still managing to lose 3-2. that's about the worst one i can remember off the top of my head. of course, we famously came back from 4-1 down with ten minutes left to middlesbrough, but as i say, comebacks like that are very rare. derby are probably the most jeckyl and hyde team in the championship at the moment, so i suppose it sums them up nicely!
We came back from 3 down a few years ago in the prem. We were 1-4 down to Boro with about 5 minutes to go and snatched a draw if you remember. the only other time I can think of was about 1980 when we were 0-3 down to Forest (who went on to win the league that year) and drew 3-3 - I was there that day. Both games at CR
the year in the championship, oh what excitement compared to the prem; if memory serves me right we were 3-1 up at Reading then holty saw red for the challenge on ian harte, we ended up 3-3
