I know this going off the subject of the managerial Merrygo ound at Leicester, but I was saddened to hear of the death of Doncaster Striker Billy Sharps young child. It's also shows what a true professional he is because he's playing tonight and he's just scored for them. My condolences go to him and his family & friends. RIP
Yes, this is a horrible thing to happen. Two years ago, my sister and brother-in-law lost her baby, and it was just awful. It's something you've never forget, but he's shown a lot of courage playing tonight.
Billy Sharp - Loses son 2 days ago. Walks into managers room and asks if he can play. Scores a good goal. Carlos Tevez - On god knows how much per week. In a champions league game. Can't be arsed to warm up.
Just shows what poor human being some people are doesnt it I thought Billy Sharp was a tosser but after what has happen i now have alot of respect for him
Always liked him as a player and was hoping a few time when he has moved that we could have gone in for him, 110 in 246 is not to be sniffed at!
Sharp = Stoic & emotionally a legend. (Side show Tevez = Not worthy of the same breath) Billy, I'm a dad. Tonight I can't say words enough other than.. Respect!
To be fair, I was one of the few who wanted Sharp in as our goalscorer this season. He's a class player, a bit like Nugent in many ways.
Always liked Billy Sharp as he fired my Leicester side to win the Champion League twice in a row in my FM09 game. Respect.
Hadnt heard about this, hovered over the link on the main board and got this Was utterly shocked... Then I read on... Fair play to the lad and my condolences go out, an unimaginable pain for me. His fight and dedication at the times of immense personal tragedy and loss should get the back pages far longer than that overpaid c**t Tevez's little spat.
