That is pretty bloody good. Yeh, west ham fans are alright in the main, the media darling thing gets a bit tedious though sometimes.
Joking mate, lighten up, please, it was more a dig at people who were picking on your good self, but if you remember when Billy signed I laughingly said, that if Sharpy hadn't scored after three games JoeyB would be on his case, sadly others have beaten him to it. Fair enough make your point but I think you will find most of us a bit more sympathetic and patient, Billy may have been trying just a bit too hard on this occasion, just needs to relax and be his natural predatorial self and things will be fine, wait and see.
Would of both given me a run for my money last night! Lets hope one of them is available in the summer! I could do with a decent partner. Maybe it could be gold in london this year?
My mistake, sorry about that. Just a bit tired of being called upon for daring to say one of our players had a bad game!! I did say I was confident he'll be good for us, but that based on those 90 minutes (or 80 or whenever he was taken off) I thought he was far from good - nothing about him being a bad signing! I'm still sure he'll be a good signing - it just seems the posters in his thread seem to have taken my criticism of one individual game as a criticism of the signing and player in general! I very much like Billy Sharp, remain confident once he settles he'll be very good for us, and will give him my full support regardless.
Good man keep the faith, sorry don't mean to lecture, but being negative isn't the way to help the cause, moan away to yourself, but we are not listening, forward and upwards, and if it goes wrong, have a bloody good whinge afterwards, that's my advice for what it is worth.
At least the gaffer has said he will have a word with the players about their theatrics. Never good to see it in the game, especially from the English contingent. We usually pride ourselves in being abit more hardy and fair when compared to our continental cousins... Still the speedos are on so i had better head to the training ground. I do hope sharp wears his full wet suit though. The pounds are mounting up. Must be the warmer climates down south...
You're a little behind the times. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/125002-Huddersfield-sack-Clark
If you see any West Ham players tell them they're training for Shot Put wrong, you have to throw it far, not kick it.
surprised to read Billy has been poor for two games, as I wasn't there last night I can't comment. He was certainly good on Saturday against Burnley though.
Hope that Sharp doesn't get too down...poor game definitely, but once he relaxes he should be excellent for us. Finishing is not at all a long-term concern; his ability to get into the right places in our system might've been, but he's already demonstrated that he can work pretty well with Rickie and find himself the necessary space. The goals will come...you don't suddenly forget how to bang them in.
