OK its funny tickling the RH presenters , but in defence of GL on the radio he IS entertaining , he plays devils advocate quite badly sometimes and IMO it is his charm , Yes he is smug but y'know what , he is far more interesting than the rest of them as he has done things in sport . He once was pulled up about a fact he got wrong about HullFC and when pointed out to him it might not be correct he truthfully replied with (paraphrasing) "well its not important if its true , so long as we get the debate going we can worry about facts tomorrow" - and that in a nutshell is why he is listened to on RH inspite of everyone claiming to hate the fella. FWIW - i dont like the other one who starts every show with a terrible pun ,

Must be becoming Radio Humberside's catchphrase... they tweeted the same excuse at me a couple of weeks ago when I asked post-match why all their on-air content was all Scunny and Grimsby.

He's not just like it on the wireless. He's an odious little **** off it too! A good few years ago, I went to a NYE do at the home of an employee of Radio Humberside. She found out I was an electrician and asked my advice about something when all of a sudden, the gargoyle that is GL piped up with how "I was wrong and was talking rubbish". He was incredibly close to being put on his back.
He's blocked me on Twitter now, the big girls blouse. I didn't even tweet anything offensive, he's just embarrassed because he's having trouble defending the indefensible. That's only the second time I've been blocked, the first one was Duffen, he couldn't handle the truth either. Edit - Now unblocked.
