Desperate??? Hardly, just commenting when there is speculation we are in talks to sign one of the best strikers in the Championship, all Leeds have to get excited about is signings like Danny Pugh these days, now that IS desperate LMFAO
oh really, we just got townsend in as well (by the way, leicester were in for him as well as west ham). And we also signed another pacey winger who's a USA international as well. Not to mention we already have possibly the best winger in the league as well. At the moment, you are seeming very desperate with no real quality able to create or finish chances. oh and i think saying he is one of the best strikers in the league is a bit much, I mean yeah he is on good form and i do rate the guy but seeings he has never managed more than 15 in a season in the championship saying he is one of the best strikers in the league is slightly biased point of view. And now that i think about it, his stats aren't that good. In the championship he has 133 appearances and only 48 goals, its only 36% goal ratio. Its not bad but there are definitely better strikers in the league. We have a striker who is at 34.5% sitting on our bench (bearing in mind half of those games, hes been a winger and not a striker) and a striker who is injured that is at 38% (and half of the games hes played was from the subs bench) Saying all that, i reiterate that sharp is a good striker but if he does join leicester, my god does he have some immediate pressure to deal with. Oh and by the way, this is not meant as a wind up post this is purely to continue the discussion of billy sharp

Yes, I'd say Billy Sharp is definitely a big name in this league. Some of his goals have been world class.
well maybe not world class, but he is one of the best strikers in the league who can also work on minimum service.
I'm not saying he's a world class player, but if Rooney had scored some of the goals Sharp has this season, we'd never heard the end of it.
