Thinking back to Seans interview after the Bournemouth game didn't he say he wanted another striker in the Baldock mode, quick feet and an eye for goal, is what he is supposed to be about, That sort of sums up Sharp wouldn't you say?

We will need crowds in the region of 12-13,000 to generate the revenue required to sustain an attempt at promotion, anything higher than that would be tasty gravy. I really am starting to believe that the club is beginning to understand the dynamics of success.

Sharp I believe has a year left on his contract 18 months tops with Southampton so they loan us him for 400k a season with a right to buy a free agent??

This would be a stupid bit of business on their part to do a deal like this!

It won't happen, but would love to be proved wrong.

According to their fans they will reject every loan offer. They want to sale him. 850k would be the winning offer. For that price we would be stupid not to pay it. We've got 500k for Davies, The club can afford 350k so lets just put a cheeky offer in. Get pack in as well. **** selling Adomah and have probably the best attacking force in the league.

    Adomah
    Baldock
    Sharp
    JET

Most championship teams would love these 4 in their team.

For that price we ought to buy him, but you know some Championship club will be sniffing around him. Maybe if its Reading we try and get Le Fondre who when at Rotherham we had the choice Taylor or Le Fondre Keef choose Taylor

West ham and I think Southampton want Le Fondre. Could very well be a straight swap deal

Well that's life KM choose to back the wrong horse I seem to remember at the time everyone was puzzled as to why he had chosen to ignore Le Fondre but nothing that can be done about it now had he chosen correctly he might still have been our manager and we could still be in the championship or even have had a season or two in the Prem but we will never know like we will never know why he didn't rate Le Fondre enough to buy him.

Buy buy buy 850.000 is peanuts for a striker of Billy Sharps pedigree.

Christ i hope SoD can pull this off,we would be made favourites for the title.

It's not the purchase price that's the problem it's wages we are massively hampered as to what we can pay mind you after the way our wage costs had risen over the last few years even without SCMP I think the club would have been told to rein in the wages bill anyway.
