What a nice comment!! In all our sharp hysteria we should spare a thought for our neighbors! Not good times :-(
Thanks for that sentiment PFL....i'm wetting myself with excitement in anticipation of seeing Sharpy and Lambo in action. Hope Pompey pull through this latest setback, you have a good young manager there, i've been very impressed with him so far.
Just listening in on Talksport Billy Sharp said he rejected Leicester as felt that Southampton felt right and he wanted to work with Nigel again, also mentioned he wont be available for tomorrow as registration wasnt put in time
Billy and Nigel .... a kind of Love Actually partnership. Bless More seriously Nige knows what this boy can do. The future's bright; the future's red 'n' white
Nigel has such a selection headache up front! Is Lee now a impact player to come off the bench with Lambert and Sharp starting? Then there is Guly... he has his work cut out keeping everyone happy. At least he can play certain players against certain teams
I know there has been a lot of people on here saying they didn't want Billy. With the feelings put aside given I really feel for his loss being a father myself, this lad could really make a difference. He finds the net in a team that is floundering at the bottom of the league. I am very excited about what he could do with supply. Good in the air and an eye for goal. I think Rickie and him will be the perfect partnership, both want to score goals and are selfless. Further to this I am really eager to see what this brings out of Connelly, Gully and Lee. I guarantee who ever starts with Lambert will be playing for their shirt, we may even see Guly running more than we have ever done before if he starts!!! Joking aside, I think this is the perfect signing to stir things up in the right way at the club. Perfect timing for Cardiff even though he wont play. COYR!!!!!
Thanks a lot!Hopefully we'll go up this season . I hope pompey find a suitable owner soon...you've got a very good manager there.Lord Voldemort has done pretty well there.
Tbh... These extra players coming in are going to make our existing players train harder and put in even better performances... Which can only be good!
Heh, remarkable the difference a couple weeks can make. While Sharp should add greatly to our starting XI, it's the depth that could make all the difference; we're no longer one freak injury away from being really lacking in options anywhere save CB/RB, and cover should soon be on its way there, as well. We now have quality and quantity, and that could make all the difference over the final nineteen games.
