    I don't see why it has to signal the end of one of our other strikers. Look at West Ham last season and all the strikers they had on their books. A promotion side needs good squad depth.

    O'Driscoll had Sharp at Donny. He'll go to Forest, if there was a choice between City and Forest.
    Now confirmed by BBC Sharp has joined Forest on a season loan.

    Suspect if there's anything in it then it's a squad player that becomes available once the M'Bia deal is confirmed. I know Barton is going the other way but he's not been given a squad number, and there's another 8 or 9 games before he can play anyway.

    Yeah, but he wasn't given a squad number and his suspension meant he wasn't a factor in other players becoming available once M'Bia signed for them if they were operating 1 in 1 out. If the 2 moves had collapsed Derry* wouldn't be available, with them both going through he will be.

    *or whever it is that is now going to be available
