He lost it with his positioning against Man U for me. We lack balance playing a centre half at fullback. We own wingbacks now, no need for for square pegs in round holes. We've been doing it for years and lacked balance the whole time. Don't know about anyone else but I like us to perform as efficiently and dangerously as possible. A proper wing back playing wing back. It couldn't make more sense imo.
Vergini for a few more games, but I would sub one of our CD's if we are ahead and coasting and bring Jones on and move Vergini into the middle, eventually maybe starting him there in "easier games" and resting our key players O,shea and Brown for the sterner tests, never thought I'd be saying this!.
Jones seems more adventurous than vergini going forward. But im very happy with either starting to be honest
