    Speak for yourself Cafc5...!!

I have my doubts as to whether Powell has enough experience to turn things around for us.

However, as a Charlton fan through and through he will have my full support. He must be given time to build a squad and get them playing for the shirt.

Only when he's built said squad, his squad and has had time to impose upon them his ideals will i judge him one way or the other.

Make no mistake... THERE IS NO QUICK FIX FOR THE MESS WE FIND OURSELVES IN. Imo we must return to basics and rebuild our once great club.

Echo Franco 100%. I will never boo him or turn on him.. if it doesn't work he will be the first person to know it. Has the best interests of the club at heart.

TBH I did want Billy Davies to succeed Curbs but I've gone off him since then. He uses the media too much to extract money from his employers, he did the same at Derby. Also last season in the play-off's his pessimistic attitude was a stark contrast to Ian Holloway's positivity, and it's no wonder he lost out.
I'm also pleased to have a management team which is committed to playing football on the ground. I know some of the performances especially away from home have been poor, but this comes after 5 seasons of mediocrity, so give them a chance. As Brian Clough said, if God had meant football to be played in the air He would have planted grass up in the sky.
