    Never seen the LOTR movies and will not be watching this film but just heard that Connolly will be starring as a dwarf in this film.

    Sounds terrible.

    They guy is a terrible actor and hasn't been funny in years.

    Another reason to avoid.

    I'll give Connolly his dues, he was one of the funniest men alive a couple of decades ago, but I lost all respect for the man when he started walking out of gigs because he couldn't handle heckling, ffs you're a stand up comedian, that's like a fireman stopping doing his job because someone lights a cigarette, or a copper walking away from criminals just because one called him a 'pig'.
