You can't tell me Shawcross, Jagielka and Clyne wouldn't do better than that.

Great work from Lallana but was that a great strike from Wilshere? I thought it was just horrible 'keeping but Andy Townsend seems to disagree with me.

Seen nothing from England to provide any grounds for optimism come the Euro Championship. Beating poor nations unconvincingly is no preparation for the likes of Spain or Germany or even Holland or France or Italy.
Agreed. The only possible chink of light is going forward. The defence, however, needs radical surgery!

Imagine this at the start of last season, though. Pele, Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar and... Kane? The suggestion would've been laughable. Still pretty weird.
