I was nominated last night by my Auntie and best mate to do the challenge, I've already donated to the MND foundation - something very close to another mate of mine after which unfortunately he lost his Mum to it earlier this year.
I will be taking the challenge though, as silly as they seem it has been helping to raise a lot of money for the causes and so if it helps in any way possibly by persuading any of my mates to donate etc, I'm all for it. I think I read somewhere, may have been on wiki, that one of the foundations raised around £60m in 2013, yet in just one week this August, it raised £10m.
I do hate the people who are doing it for attention and popularity however, such as trying to get retweets on Twitter or a like on Facebook, by all means post it on your social media sites but do it with the right intention, make sure you persuade and inspire others to a) donate and b) help raise awareness.
