Yes,I remember it well.We were so good it was embarassing!!!!
We had such a nice lead we could take the FA Cup seriously...and we did!
This was the season when we did something that hadn't been done in the modern times.
Unfortunately,like the 4 minute mile,other teams made it look cheap after the 1969 70 season.But Spurs played pure football.After that came Arsenal and their choppers of 70-1.Never the same after that......
God! What about those choppers...Storey of Arsenal,Harris of Chelsea,Tommy Smith of Liverpool and the whole Leeds United team.Made Vinny Jones look like a choir boy.....

Our next away game is guess who?...Citeh! 3 PL home games til then including the game in hand v Everton. You'd normally say 9 points from them, but in view of things this weekend and what can happen, 7 from 9 would not be sad.
