When people are claiming that Sweden is the example that all other countries should follow, people which tend to be on the alt-right side of the conversation (aka the "Masks violate my FREEZE PEACH" side of the conversation), the fact that the number of both cases and deaths in Sweden are significantly higher than their immediate neighbours and the fact that Sweden don't even know what herd immunity actually requires before implementing it anyway, that **** needs to be called out before another wannabe Dan Woottoonn starts spouting dangerously incorrect information just so they can feel self-important

I would say that is the reason I refused to engage in your stupid questions in your previous point, but that would be a lie: the truth is that I don't need to, because when somebody is continuing to falsely hold up Sweden as an example of a country that has done anything other than ruin the soundtrack of all student nights since 1994 then I am not going to feed data into something that is patently wrong, because the fact is when something is patently wrong and has been demonstrated to be patently wrong there is no reason to humour people who retreat to their patently wrong position

Sorry to hear that. At 61 it has ripped me apart. I developed bacterial pneumonia as well after COVID but fortunately for me antibiotics worked. One of the side effects of COVID is a lower resistance to other infections. I agree with you, **** the facts, too much bulls crap from both sides of the argument. Believe what you see and what you figure out. It is survival of the fittest. Don't believe the government, they don't care if old people die in care homes, few vote anyway, they just cost money. Every dead person over 66 is one less pension to them. Hospitals are dangerous places and the doctors know that. I can't understand why your aunt couldn't have been treated at home, did she need a ventilator?

No mate , she was getting over the pneumonia and then they found the Covid over a week ago , Friday everything changed , she went down hill very fast and as you said I'm not sure but it seems like she was passed the ventilator stage

One of these countries went into strict lockdown, the other decided to go for herd immunity in spite the fact that they failed to realise that herd immunity requires a percentage of the populace to be vaccinated, which is the exact same idiotic decision our government made because Dominic Cummings places computer modelling above things such as "facts" or "evidence" (see also: the A-Level fiasco this summer)

More than anything else, this kills the "But Sweden..." argument dead, moreso than the fact Sweden's immediate neighbours have significantly lower numbers of cases and deaths, because when a country that has a population a mere 12.5 times that of Sweden and a population density that's the best part of 15 times of Sweden's have a lower number of cases and deaths, not a lower percentage but coverall figure, that is the point where people need to stop bleating about Sweden as a source of anything other than furniture and meatballs
