Not a problem. All will be fixed because *I* know how to play Gerrard and Lampard in the same team. The fact that nobody else could do it is simply evidence that I am the clever one.

Change of subject.

WOW!!

What a game to see England into the final of the Women's cricket final.
Nearly spunked it at the end, but credit to SA for defending such a low total so well.
I'm too long in the tooth I accept, but I flinch every time I hear the word 'batter' used...... it's a feckin' 'batsman' or 'batswoman'..... actually, that does sound daft..... I'll warm to 'Batter' <laugh>

But if the game has to develop, never, ever, should a 'batsman/batswoman/batter' (delete whichever you prefer) be clapped TO the wicket!!! That's a step far too far!! :emoticon-0121-angry

And why is it ''player of the match'' and not ''woman of the match''?

What a win!

To all intents and purposes that game was lost. So much of sporting success is in the mind. As England clicked, India melted. As a player, I've experienced a little bit of both. It's a weird feeling when you're losing and yet you know that you're going to win. It's an enormous high.

The other way around is disgraceful and **** but occasionally happens. Your head and legs go at the same time. Champions can arrest that slide. The rest of us have to live with it. That Indian team are going to take some time to recover from that

In some sports , psychology effects the game more than others. And cricket is up there with the best which can make it such a spectacle.
It looks so simple at a run a ball, but that is pressure in itself. The moment you don't get that run you do something stupid and then panic sets in.
