Very weird what happened to him...his career just went down the toilet from the minute we ended our interest in him.

He's said that he lost it when they turned the bid down and went off the rails. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51198201 Sounds like he's enjoying himself more now and appreciating things where he is, too. Good for him.
Hope that it's not super Jan's last game for us but if it is then the very best of luck for the future , I always thought he should have been the captain
Guys bit of a random question. My Uncle and two Cousins are going on a fishing trip to France in September for 10 days. Their initial plan was to take my Cousin's work van but his work has now told him he can't take the van abroad which has thrown a spanner in the works. With all the gear they're taking, it won't fit in a car. Does anyone know a good (good as in cheap) hire company that allows unlimited mileage and the ability to go abroad? They've been looking at trying to hire one themselves but aren't happy with some of the prices they're being quoted (initially around £300 which is fine, but then it was hiking up to about £800 once they mentioned going abroad) so was just wondering if anyone here has any suggestions/ recommendations? The pickup/ drop off locations can be a bit varied too, either in East Devon, Hertford, North London or Essex areas.
Might be cheaper to take the passenger ferry over and hire in-country, though I’ve only ever hired cars for this sort of thing and never a van, so I don’t know about the costs and availability.
Usually that’d be fine but they take a **** tonne of fishing gear (honestly, it’s a ****ing joke how much these boys take) so need a large vehicle to pack it all in beforehand. They’ve gone on coaches in the past with a group of 15/ 20 but this time it’s just them 3.
If they can arrange their own insurance and breakdown cover that should be able to keep the costs down. Rent a van that is still in warranty as Ford VW and Mercedes used to have Europe wide coverage, but that may have changed now that UK is not in the EU
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53571916 Bournemouth considering legal action against Hawkeye for the error at Villa Park. I don't like this in the end whilst it was a clearly a mistake, its no different from any other refereeing error, you could claim that Bournemouth might have also got an extra point from their match with us when we weren't awarded the early penalty, once again a decision that was also confirmed as being incorrect, so whilst 2 wrongs don't make a right on this occasion the errors seem to have evened themselves out.
They won't get anywhere with this, but there is a difference. This was a goal, fact. Not opinion. Our penalty shout is opinion. Almost indisputable but opinion all the same.
VAR confirmed that the decision not to award the penalty in our match was incorrect (VAR got 3 decisions wrong that night), now admittedly we would still have had to score the penalty and there would have 80 mins of football for Bournemouth to equalise if we did, but equally had Sheff Utd been correctly awarded Villa may well have equalised in the 2nd half.
Somewhere on Twitter, somebody is convincing themselves that we've cloned Dave Mackay and Danny Blanchflower
