    Except it wasn't there when he joined. Can't suck the life out of a dead body and we were just as **** before he joined us. Clearly hasn't turned it around, but maybe that'll take a bit longer.

    I remember how surprised we all were at the signings as we had just watched them win the world cup and here they were unbelievably joining Spurs. A real coup! We suddenly had a lot of new Spurs fans.

    I thought he was indestructible. One of the games characters and very different to his brother. I enjoyed his press interviews, always no nonsense and to the point, like his defending.

    That's the third player who has had a brother murdered while they were on our books, sort of.
    Defoe and Palacios in 2009, though the latter's actually took place earlier, and now Aurier.
    Are we cursed?

    Hope the poor bloke can help his family to find some safety and peace of mind, somehow.
