    Roberto Soldado - Looked to have the tools to be a star in the premier league and to be a Spurs legend - but it just didn't happen, took a decent penalty, but that was about it.

    A good book to read is by Hunter Davies where he travels with the Spurs team for a whole season some years ago.

    RIP. <rose> That test match at Headingly will see that he is remembered forever. One of the most amazing sporting contests of all time.

    Unfortunately, you hardly ever see very old, tall people..........which is particularly unfortunate for me.

    Yes, a shame. He was a great bowler, when fast bowlers for England were few and far between. Back then we existed on a long line of fast medium swing/seam bowlers. Lacked a little of the charisma of a Botham or Gower, but will be remembered as a fine player.
