Oh FFS I wonder whether the pitch-swap mechanism can be sped up and operated as soon as he walks out onto the turf, meting out some biblical 'earth swallowing' punishment.
The original is so good. You can see where it's going, but you think there will be a twist. But it never comes - and the end it's so shocking and disturbing even though you've seen it coming.
Fulham had 84.5% possession v Millwall today! Two time F.A.Cup winners Bury are set for oblivion and nobody in the super rich game is coming to their aid. CL semi finalists Ajax have to endure the indignity of qualifying for this year's competition whilst also-rans in some big leagues qualify automatically. Not Ronaldo, not Messi, not Neymar - but McTominay is the new face of PES! And...VAR Football, bloody hell
One of the few films that captures the true meaning of horror. Not horror = visceral splatter / Greys' anatomy fest, but horror as in to be truly horrified as you watch on as the events play out.
My initial concentration was Folklore and Mythology (your friends will think you're joking, and your parents will hope you are). From that angle, the original comes across as interesting and well-researched concerning Beltain/May Day and other hit and myth topics. I think it's one of the more essential films of the sixties.
cough cough *** please log in to view this image *** Technically not a remake but a much closer rendition of the original novella.
Having a great IT day: installing a new printer should've taken 15-20 minutes but instead took an hour and a half, swiftly followed by spending the whole day thinking my desktop had computer cancer because the latest update was programmed by someone who forgot Norton exists that means every time I boot up I have to go through the startup repair menu as the security update and my antivirus are having a fight that kicks off when the update is 30% complete
I've got a one box Compaq loaded with windows 95 in the loft you can borrow , also has Doom installed
You people are really with it. I turn mine and off and if I have a problem I send for the "Geek Squad"!
The Geek Squad will say the same thing: wait for Microsoft and Norton to sort it out amongst themselves, which is exactly the sort of thing you want to hear about two multi billion dollar companies...
And as time runs out for Bury...................... All they need is a couple of million which is loads for us but for some players these days it's a couple of months work ( or play or for some sitting on a bench) But some decided it would be better to finance Salford FC. Here's one who could probably afford it: Local lad Phil Neville also told Robbie Savage's Premier League Breakfast on BBC Radio 5 Live that his family are "devastated" about Bury's possible demise. Neville's mother Jill last week resigned as club secretary while his late father Neville was a director and has a stand named after him at Gigg Lane. The former Manchester United defender said: "One man cannot stop one football club, which has hundreds of years of history, going out of existence. "It's probably the biggest day in their history. Today Bury, the town, might not have a football club. It's absolutely disgraceful."
Why doesn't the town buy the football club? I don't know how many people live there but.....a pound/fiver from every adult could do something.
