https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...veal-prices-for-201920-campaign-a4090351.html Levy needs to approach this with some sensitivity and common sense. I'm dreading it, to be honest.
Today in celebrity Spurs fan news... ...and, in related news, in moronic comments made to celebrity Spurs fans on Twitter...
Here's hoping common sense prevails despite being a rare commodity in modern football. Also what on earth does Eriksen's agent mean by "he has evolved from a world class talent into a world class player"? What's the difference?
Quite right, no way should we sell Veal at any price. I confess I've guessed without clicking on link.
Look, we have a room where food has to be sold, and the memesters made it impossible to sell cheese in it...
What is it with us and apparently coaching set piece taking out of players? It's been happening since at least Jol was coach, and the only reason I can't recall if it was happening earlier is because I paid a lot of money for counselling about the Sugar Era and don't want to have to spend it all again...
4 years later it did happen. But after 31 days, it's all over. He couldn't work under a megalomaniac owner. And his players couldn't play on a paddy field of a pitch. So it's back to being a pundit on BT Sport?
Sky Sports had a graphic a few games ago that had us as on the top 5 from scoring from set pieces....
Actually seems we are third. https://www.whoscored.com/Regions/2...amStatistics/England-Premier-League-2014-2015 But don't let statistics get in the way of talking us down. Not addressed to anyone in particular.
The real question is...how? The likes of Bale, Bentley, Modric, Eriksen and Sigurdsson have all gone from being able to find their teammates or the top corner with a set piece to finding the scalp of the first defender during their times with us, so the likelihood is the only reason we're so high is we've had far more time to get a set piece right in the Premier League than teams such as Burnley and QPR have It's also worth pointing out that, from the same link, it reveals our crossing stat is not just below Hull and Burnley but equal to Villa and QPR
That's from 2014/15. We're actually joint 2nd in the current season, bizarrely: https://www.whoscored.com/Regions/2...amStatistics/England-Premier-League-2018-2019 Eriksen's direct free-kicks are still awful, though. He hasn't scored one since his double against Swansea in 2015, IIRC.
I'm not sure about fascinating, but I'd be interested to see this used over here: The ref is transfering to England and will take charge of Championship games from next season.
