After Bald Archie mentioned the Monkeys Pleasant Valley Sunday I've been into You tube tonight listening to 60's /early 70's Music, Great Stuff, Animals, Joe Cocker, Righteous Bros, Mamas ant the Papas, T Rex, Small Faces with PP Arnold, god wasn't she beautiful? (apologies to political correct people, one isn't allowed to say a women is beautiful nowadays is one?) But the cats whiskers was Pans People dancing the Middle of the Road, bring back hot pants I say, Phew.
As a tribute to Peter Tork i will leave this. From the last monkees album in the last couple of years. Has more to do with Michael Nesmith but i just love the song. RIP.

This is so true... Pochettino has not won anything, but he has created a club that expects — and is expected — to do so in the future. He has fundamentally altered the fabric of the place that he found. He has made what was once unthinkable entirely feasible, and he has done it so often that his brilliance has become mundane. It is easy to be fooled into thinking this is normal. It is not, and the best measure of how extraordinary it is may well be how ordinary it seems. Metaphorically, I shake my head at hearing/reading those 'supporters' who criticise the club at this time or Daniel Levy, Maurio Pochettino et al. What's happened since 2014 is extraordinary and has altered the club to a point where slipping back to where we were is hard to envisage. Journalists in this country prefer to decry it but it is recognised elsewhere. We are so close. Doubters need to question whether a change in their attitude and attending games to roar the team on might actually be part of getting us that silverware? We don't have the wealth of others but we can do it, it's just not going to be easy.....very little of real value ever is...
It's one of the best pieces I've read on Spurs recently, I think. It effectively topspins all the backspin people have put on Spurs' rise...if that makes any sense.
I nowadays enjoy the off-pitch mental gymnastics that the UK "pundits" and hacks have to do in order to disguise raw Spurs fear/hatred as "balanced opinion" , almost as much as I enjoy the on-pitch displays. But no surprise that overseas sports hacks may write so. They (currently) have no "emotional investment" in the fates of English football clubs etc, so will come across more objectively.
MP has come of age he has been charged with an offence by the FA that haven of football awareness. Their value system is very well respected in todays Britain because it's based firmly on MONEY. The irony of MP, who is clearly a man with principles and respect for his fellow man, being charged by people who understand as much about respect as Theresa May understands about democracy.
