I consider myself to be well thought out, kind, considerate and tolerant of other people's opinions but these mofos really need a slap
Eriksen's contract is constant talk in the rags at the moment. This is a tricky one... He's out of contract at the end of the season and is said to be currently on £70k a week. Kane is reportedly on £200k a week and Alli on £150k just to compare. By the sounds of it, the club are not offering the player what he feels he's worth... yet. What figure would you put him on, considering: • he outperforms the likes of Ozil who's on a ridiculous wage of £300k • is only bettered by David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne in scoring and assists • can go missing in big games but has been critical in others • doesn't like a tackle • doesn't like to mess his hair up and go for headers • is clearly one of our most influential players We risk losing a player that would be hard to replace. He's still only 26, so there will be other clubs watching this one closely for sure. I think he wants to stay, be a part of Poch's revolution and play in the new ground. But at what price?
Should surely match Dele - maybe a bit higher? If £160k would seal the deal then (if the other figures are accurate) that’s got to be about the right mark.
I can see that DL will be trying to create a scale of pay based upon numerous factors, including ability, age, length of contract, global image value, etc. You can then slot players into a scale of pay based upon HK at the top of that scale. There's no doubt that he's pretty low profile and doesn't want it any other way and plays for a nation that'snot going to reach the late stages of a World Cup and doesn't have the global pull of someone like HK or Sonny. It makes perfect sense and avoids having to deal with the alternative of ****ing off other players, like Arsenal did with Ozil and United with Sanchez. However, as with Toby, we've let his contract get to a point where he's in the driving seat now, which is what produced the daft offers for those two. At this point, we need to make a decision as to how much we need him (he's crucial to us) and what we can afford. I'm still hopeful but he'll be getting plenty of offers from clubs with deeper pockets
It is...but the power tips totally in the player's favour with 12 months left. If we don't get it done in the next few months, we'll probably have to sell in the summer. We can't afford to lose him for nowt in 2020.
So wrapped up in the win against Chelsea I totally forgot the rugby...................WELL DONE ENGLAND.
Judas is now the Macclesfield manager, claiming in him they have "an international footballer" who has been "one of the best players in the world". Class tool. Bound to fail. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46391157
We've got an international footballer in our U23s, but I don't think Anthony Georgiou should be managing anyone just yet...
I'm so sorry Macclesfield fans but I want your team to go to ****, just to see that smirk wiped off that arrogant pricks face.
Eriksen should get what Kane gets, as he's more important to the team, though not remotely as marketable.
