It makes me feel nauseous. I hated England picking him well beyond him having any use beyond sponsors wishes. We had the same with Beckham. Playing for England should be about more than this. If not, let Robbie Williams have some caps, he's probably quicker than Rooney these days.
I'd have gone for Nicky Wire of Manic Street Preachers. He's a Yid, a bloody good footballer and was offered trials by Spurs.......unfortunately, he's very Welsh. I said Robbie Williams because I played 5-a-side against him before he was famous. He was pretty good.

A little bit.....actually I was as fit as **** then and played with a guy who was on West Ham's books as a junior and an ex-Northern Ireland youth international. We beat him and his Stokie mates in both games.
