The Cherry Trees in South Norwood is a Palace pub but the previous 2 managers were both Spurs fans and a little cabal of South London Spurs drink in there. The current guv'nor has come to Spurs with us on a number of occasions, despite supporting United. There's a Chas and Dave Greatest Hits album on the juke box. It's been there for years and always gets a play after we win and are on tv.

After we won 3-2 at The Emirates in the early kick off, we played the album in The Cherries for hours - I left pissed around midnight, singing 'Gertcha' as I left. Even Palace fans, returning from their later game, joined in with us. A happy day.

    RIP. Chas Hodges.

    A Tottenham legend.

Just watched that big Virgin plane somersault while landing! How? Can you imagine being a passenger in that plane?

  15. Every time you think 'Oh, that David Beckham - he's a decent lad' just think of this incident and the previous occasion that he has used his wealth to pay for this leech of a solicitor to get him off.

    http://news.sky.com/story/who-is-mr...present-beckham-over-speeding-charge-11510038

Freeman is a reprehensible character, happy to get drink-drivers, excessive speeders and fail to stop drivers off of charges on technicalities - as long as his £10k per day fees are covered.

Might be funny to some, but if your wife or child was the victim you might think differently.
