Nice of you to predict a Spurs win in the replay.

Get down the bookies and see if you can get an accumulator
on that and a Mourinho non bore-fest on Wednesday.

    From The Sunday Telegraph.....

Gareth Southgate will attend the Super Bowl in Minnesota next Sunday to join a convention of coaches from across the world to exchange ideas......

"Did you think that you'd get away with not paying for this jolly?"

    "No? Me neither."

Here's an idea: go to an MLS game instead. At least that's the right sport!

What on earth has this crappy super bowl thing got to do with our football? Unless he wants to count how many commercials are shown during " the game"!
That "game" has more stops than an out of control traffic light!

The England team hasn't had a player whose sole purpose is to take set pieces and then bugger off again since Beckham retired

I bet the set piece takers put every center onto a postage stamp every time in practice....then comes match day.......!

Never been to a super bowl but fairly sure you don't see the commercials live in the stadium.

So does Baseball, it is interminable. Basketball is at least all action except it's the same monotonous up and down, when a commercial break would be a blessed relief. Ice Hockey has little variation also, unless you enjoy a big fight between people padded up to the gills.
Still don't see any commercials when you're at the stadium though.

I remember asking this question a few years ago, and the answer I got was...actually, yes you do.

    Cthulhu wept...

The screens destined for the south of NWHL are the size of doubles tennis courts. They've got to be paid for somehow.

Yes, my ex-wife is an American in Britain, and from Wisconsin so she's obviously a Packers fan... but what excuse does anyone else have?
