Has anyone mentioned this new rule about a two game ban for a dive for next season? Apparently controversial decisions that win a penalty or get someone sent off will be reviewed by a panel (manager, ref, player) the following Tuesday.

Heard some discussion about whether it's a good thing on the radio but all discussion has missed one rather important bit of info - who decides whether the incident is going to be reviewed by the panel? If there is any subjectivity involved in this, what's the betting that certain decisions in favour of certain teams won't even make it as far as the panel!
Isn't it normally the commentators who decide

On a similar line, my son was just watching the Pool friendly and drew my attention to a late penalty for them. There was an absolutely hilarious dive by Origi that would surely qualify for this new treatment. The odd thing is though, there appeared to be a penalty awarded *and* a card for diving! I can only assume the ref thought it was kind of a two part event, where there was a penalty worthy foul and then the player dived. I'm not even sure that's possible! Anyway, the fact he received a yellow might mean that under the new system it can't even go to the panel. Murky times indeed!
They didn't book origi but the commentators thought they should. He was definitely fouled but didn't go down. Spent a second regretting that and then dived ludicrously. It was a pen and then a dive.

The boxer's Anthony Yarde, by the way. One to watch.

It was a semi final and during the warm up, England were more interested in taking ridiculous selfies than anything else. The manager should be fired for allowing it, never mind the shambolic performance which followed.

Are we safe to assume you were also less than impressed by the
collective "shaving regime" of the squad ?? :)

You'd have thought that every manager of a competitive football team would have made their team aware of the screw ups arsenal made after their various post match selfie fests.
I use it as an example with the kids I work with when encouraging them not to think that something is easy in school.

So Neymar did not move for the money, but ...

to help a team in an impoverished area of Paris,
owned by a prudent chairman, compete at the
highest levels against clubs with far greater
financial resources.

Hope that clears things up for you Neymar haters.
There's something stuck in my throat.
It must be catarrh
