Danny Rose was interviewed last night on 5 live with jenas & co.
He actually has some interesting things to say about Spurs and his opinions on certain matters. It was nice not to hear the usual generic responses that you get from most footballers in interviews.
He stated that the club need to try and make a marquee signing this summer, and indicated that the marquee player would need to be in a role similar to that of Son, Dele, and Eriksen. In addition, he said that we could to with a bit more squad depth.
He also said that he wishes he'd had Poch coaching him since he was 18, as life under redknapp was very difficult for him.
Harry Kane only has Tottenham on his mind, apparently. He wants to lead the team into the new stadium and break every record at the club.
He also stated that there may be the odd player who may fancy a change and it could be time to move on. (Hmm... I wonder who that might be?)
His comments certainly made it seem that he's not going anywhere, though.
Just hope Levy was listening. Many of his comments were things we've all been saying as fans for some time.
It's over to Levy now. No more Sissoko's, but genuine exciting young talent, and 1 or two proven squad players to either improve the first X1 and/or add depth.
