Anybody know if the online booking site is 24 hours or am I wasting my time waiting for the last half a millimetre on the space bar to finally move
Thanks OS . Nothing better to do so I'll continue looking at the screen. It's a bit like watching an Andy Warhol movie of someone sleeping though
It was much easier back in the day, before computers. Anything special requiring ticket only status (European Cup, FA replays, Cup Final replays etc) we just went to the ticket office by the main gate & bought them, if you were a member of the Supporters Club. No problems. If you were not a member tickets went on general sale on Sunday morning from the ground. Thousands used to queue up all night, with sing songs & midnight feasts. All good fun. I done it a couple of times with friends to get extra tickets for my Dads mates.
Funny Belgium would pick Martinez when Ted Lasso was available. He’d get those Dutch players giving 110% for all four quarters. Lasso may be negotiating with Lie-chester, though. Then again, maybe the Belgians were worried he’d ask, "How many countries are in this country?" again.
Just got in after 10 mins using iPad and got my ticket Still quite a few left but only on the top tier
Been out and just come in and guess what- the bar has not moved-13 hours. I will stay up all night if need be......
oh-but the ticket office closed. I was phoning constantly until I got the message that they have closed. With all the problems, one might have thought they might continue to work- even get temporary staff in to help, but nooooo. So, when they turn round and blame the system.......There is something they could do.
Don't know how you managed. I am at a loss what to do. If and when I get to speak to someone, even by e-mail, I will let them know what I think. I pity the person on the other end although I know it is not their fault.
And the saga has at long last come to an end- 14 hours . Happy I've got my tickets but not happy with wasting 14 hours of my life and it is not a good seat.
Well, after 15 hours sat in front of the screen I have finally got my tickets. Not for where I would have liked but at least I have some. Now breathe!
Really glad you guys got them in the end...can't believe that I feel lucky that me and my daughters only had a 7 hrs 45 mins wait in front of the computer!!!!! Only Tottenham
"Son apologises to his team mates as he departs for Rio." Increasingly, the single most important notable thing about the player is his nationality. Since he signed we have an official Korean tyre sponsor. Conjecture remains concerning his future national service and whether he will seek to postpone it like Park did at The Gooners. What we haven't seen much of is a player worth the £22m we spent on him. I hope that he's ready to justify his status immediately upon his return or that we get an Asian sponsor for the stadium at a level that makes him watching Josh Onomah from the bench financially worthwhile. I'm hoping that he kicks on but also that he comes back to find things have progressed in his absence.
Shocking on the ticket stuff. I hope you all got as close to your desired seats as you could. I looked after midnight, and the seats remaining were suitable only for birds of prey. Will be interesting to see how many tickets out of the full capacity were actually allocated to the club, and what the online purchasing queue sizes were (as I joked, I suspect Levy was running the booking sys on my laptop yesterday) .
Unfortunately , I am a bird of prey. Nowhere near desired spot. More interesting will be to see how many tickets will go onto Stubhub and how many empty seats there will be if we have a ''minnow'' in our group.
