It says something when having ties to Rupert Murdoch is more useful than having ties to the Prime Minister.

Surely Coulson also knows where enough "bodies are buried" ??
Unless he is being well rewarded to get sent down solo, it makes no sense.

It's also quite convenient that the judgment was given on a day where it was obvious it would be buried as there was an England match being played.

The Beeb have had nearly have half their news bulletin on it as the lead story.
Trying to strike back it seems on behalf of their fallen bum-chums (the adulterer Blunkett etc) .
An attempt to get Cameron on the rack. BBC London straight after to try and do the same to Boris.

First we have Brooks getting away with it, then Uruguay scum their way through.

Today is not a good day for the concept of justice.

Comment about female tennis player by female BBC commentator.

"She is literally manning the barricades"

Can a woman literally man anything? Is it legal to put up a barricade in a tennis match?

Overuse of literally annoys me so much. I wrote to a Scottish comedienne on Twitter once after she wrote "I am literally beside myself with anger..."

First team players report back tomorrow. Younger players reported back last Tuesday and several of the academy age groups are going away to pre season training camps in Belgium. All World Cup participating players will be offered a minimum of 22 days break.

Rooney scored twice to help Aberdeen to a 5-0 win. We could be on course to face the mighty Aberdeen in the Europa League.
