I once had a piling rig in Manchester. A local walking a dog came up to me and said 'you're not leaving in here overnight are you mate?' I said yeah, why not? he said 'it won't be here in the morning'. So I got in a digger and built an earth bund around it. The dog walker came back later, he saw the bund, shook his head and told me I wouldn't be doing any piling the following day. I laughed and said no one is going to steal that. He shook his head and walked off. I cleared of to my hotel and to check-out the local fillies (more like nags actually). He was right, when I arrived the cab was well charred. They must have had a free source of petrol. 5 weeks and an £80,000 rebuild later we started work.
Good news all round at Sutton they have reduced admission prices for the rest if the season, senior citizen concessions now start at 60,and Tim Vine is going to do his bit on 15th of March, with the entrance being, pay what you want, and the Manager Paul Doswell has won manager of the month for the 2nd month running,Sutton are now 3rd Drawing at Eastborne last Saturday, with a Jamie Slabber goal
Well done tonight, Spuds! You done your country proud! I hope your London rivals in Blue can match your performance!
prehaps i worded it wrong, you get reduced price admission at 60 years old instead of 65 years old at most clubs
How dare you get me all worked up.I nearly choked on my digestive biscuit when I read 60 quid for a non league game!
£60 for a plain digestive is ridiculously disgusting. The others, just disgusting. Really want digestives
I dread to think what Doncaster charged for the other night's reserve game where one of Wand Erection was on the subs bench...
Just to clear it up it's actually £6 for seniors for a Sutton game. You can get a season ticket for £125, you old bastards!
