My Spurs newsletter says Sandro "the beast" has played 8 games this season with 7 games won and 1 drawn.
We need him in every game........

Sutton United have a Q&A session with Paul Cannonville on 31st January 2014,tickets for the evening are £10

He does a lot of work in Prisons, taking coaching sessions and helping with race issues and generally trying to help prisoners get their lives back on track.

Quote of the Day: "People might say it is not realistic and it's crazy but I want Gibraltar to be respected. Liechtenstein are minnows and they are respected." They are?

The latest ridiculous development in the non-state's stupid history but more importantly it's another team in international football that we're probably better than <ok>

Right to be cautious

I really need to start a rumour that Ladbrokes, William Hill, Paddy Power and all the other British gambling sites who located their servers in Gibraltar to dodge paying tax to HMRC are bankrolling the Gibraltar FA...

I went to Gibraltar once and I have some football boots, somewhere. Stick my name down. I'll go in goal, if need be.

If Gibraltar were recognised by FIFA, then would they be able to pick all the British rejects?
Would anyone becoming a naturalised citizen qualify?

Sutton crashed out of the FA trophy,at the first time of asking losing 2-1 at home to Havant& Waterlooville.Contributing to thier own downfall giving away 2 penalty's,but seeing the highlights the 2nd one was out of the Ashley Young school of diving, justice was done as he smashed the ball against the post, the rebound was also smashed against the post and that rebound hit a defender then kicked away, the first penalty against the run of play knocked us out of our stride, then it was like watching Spurs, Newcastle as their keeper kept us at bay,or we gave the ball away in the final 3rd of the pitch.they then scored a 2nd goal on a breakaway ,before we got one back with a Craig Dundas 30 yarder .we then laid seige to thier goal for the last 5 or so minutes, but couldn't get a second

Great for Gibraltar. My friends, when I lived in Tottenham as a youngster, were from Gibraltar.Spurs fans all and football mad!!!
They've been putting up with us Brits since 1702 so believe me,they are British without being British. They certainly don't want to be connected to Spain, whatever Spain wants!
I've been to Gib 3 times, once as a delayed honeymoon.Loved it. I think all you should pay the place a visit once in your lives.
One time I was there the Cambridge United team was playing a friendly there and was staying in our hotel at "The Caletta Palace".
When we went to breakfast at the hotel, you could sit there in the breakfast room watching the sun come up over North Africa.Beautiful!.....and you can hop a plane or the ferry to see another world in Tangier.
I can remember Britain giving Gibraltar citizens a vote to see whether they wanted to be part of Spain or still connected to Britain.Spain got just around 200 votes against many thousands.
Anyway, good luck to Gib in the football world.
